Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Entries made in a search tool are sent to the provider operating that tool. The provider processes the request under its own terms. We do not maintain a separate log of the names or case numbers entered through that tool.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or other direct message may be retained so it can be answered or handled. It is not shared outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, standard server and browser logs can capture technical information about the visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small browser files that help measure aggregate use, such as which pages receive traffic. Browser settings may block cookies, although doing so can affect how parts of the resource function.
What We Do With This Data
- Operating, securing, and improving the resource
- Directing a submitted search to its provider
- Understanding aggregate page use and performance
- Diagnosing technical errors
- Delivering advertising where applicable
No Court-Record Data on File
Webster County Court Docket does not host, sell, or compile court-case databases. It supplies routing information for the Circuit Clerk, Chancery Clerk, lower courts, and PAMEC/MEC access. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into reports about third parties.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search tools shown on some pages. Their privacy rules, retention practices, and disclosures apply to information submitted to their services. Review the relevant provider policy before entering information.
Links to Other Websites
Links to the Webster County offices, Mississippi court systems, and other resources open sites controlled by their operators. Their own privacy notices apply once a visitor leaves this resource.
Advertising services can conduct tracking on their own systems for advertising purposes. We do not control that activity.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Limited information can be received by:
- The provider selected to process a submitted search
- Analytics services used to measure traffic and performance
- Advertising networks that deliver ads on pages
- Government entities when a valid legal demand requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for the information handled by this resource. No internet transmission or storage method is fully secure, so absolute security cannot be promised.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if you believe such information was submitted so the issue can be addressed.
Your Data Rights
For access to public court materials, Mississippi uses the Mississippi Public Records Act, Miss. Code ยงยง25-61-1 et seq., while court-specific electronic access and restricted records are also governed by the judiciary's rules. That access framework does not alter this private resource's handling of visitor data. A visitor may still:
- Request information we hold about that visitor
- Ask that inaccurate direct-contact information be corrected
- Request deletion of information where appropriate
- Use browser controls to limit cookies or certain tracking
