Why We Built This Site
Mississippi court access is easier when the court tier is known first. Webster Circuit matters are maintained by the Circuit Clerk, while Chancery matters have a separate clerk and electronic court path. Justice and municipal citations may remain with lower-court offices. The goal is practical routing: identify the correct custodian, point to the official search or counter channel, and explain the limits on public access.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket routing: the different paths for criminal dockets and civil dockets
- Settings: published term information and ways to confirm a specific date in Court Dates
- Lookup access: how a case lookup works through the participating MEC/PAMEC system
- Official copies: the clerk channels described in Court Record Search
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, with no affiliation to a Mississippi court, clerk, or government agency. Its limits matter:
- We cannot retrieve an official docket sheet or case file
- We cannot schedule, reset, or confirm a hearing
- We cannot alter, seal, or remove a court record
- We cannot produce a certified order, docket, or copy
- We cannot give legal advice about a particular matter
- We cannot guarantee that court contacts, fees, or settings have not changed
Only the clerk or court that keeps a case may issue its official or certified record. A reference page cannot substitute for that custodian.
Search Partners
Some pages include tools operated by outside providers. Those services set their own prices, terms, and result displays. A paid sign-up can generate a referral fee for this resource, but the provider controls its service and the information it returns.
